The red-carpet treatment

This time of year brings a few different things – a little bit more daylight, Valentine’s Day on the horizon, and endless awards ceremonies.


It was the turn of the Grammy’s this week and Kanye West controversy aside, everything appears to have gone down well.


Whether you pay much attention to these things or not is another thing, but there are very good at doing something we’re all a bit guilty of neglecting sometimes – celebrating our wins. 


It does feel odd to be in ‘reflection’ mode when we’re almost 6 weeks into 2025 but much like me on my best behaviour in my driving test, it’s about checking what’s behind you AND what’s coming ahead simultaneously.


After all, so much of planning what you do next is about knowing what’s behind.


However the year’s started for you, whether it’s been fast-paced, double-busy or it’s just kicking into gear, we’re only just getting into events season now.

And while a night at the Oscar’s might not be in your diary, an exhibition at an upcoming trade show or event might be…


Which means there are opportunities aplenty. 


If you haven’t considered video for your event, whether it’s capturing your stand and your day, week or weekend at the exhibition, or getting video testimonials from your customers, it’s worth thinking about how it can add value to your marketing and brand.
