It’s December already?!

If there’s one conversation I’ve had more than any this week, it’s the fact that nobody can quite believe that we’re in December.

In fact, we’re a few windows down on the advent calendar and Christmas is approaching faster than Santa can fly his sleigh.

So, if you’re like me and you’ve not even given your Christmas shopping a thought, it might be an idea to get cracking!

That being said, as we all know in December, thoughts tend to turn to Christmas and New Year pretty sharpish.

Whether it’s finishing off crucial projects, getting deliveries out on time, and getting jobs ticked off, there’s a list you want to get through so you can really enjoy Christmas, right?

But at some point, whether it’s after the Christmas party or before, there will be a time where you’re getting things planned for 2026.

And there’s one thing that’s becoming even more important as we head into the New Year, which is imagery and video.

As AI quickly begins its ascent to a part of our daily lives, more and more searches are based on location, images and content that delivers value.

Which is why I want to talk about the role that homepage videos can play, not only when people land on your website, but in driving people TO your website, so they can take action.

Whether it’s with SEO in mind, delivering a key message, or just adding more of a ‘real’ feel to your site, that video can be pivotal in positioning you.

So, while we might not crack on with it until the New Year, it’d be great to get that homepage video date booked in the diary, so we can start to work towards it…

Speak soon,

Ben (The Video Guy)
