Getting my feet back under the table

The first full week back after Christmas and New Year always follows the same pattern.

I find the best thing to do is to get stuck in and hit the ground running – being busy is the best distraction to all of the leftover chocolate, cheese, and Christmas nonsense still in the house!

Happy New Year, by the way – I hope you had a lovely Christmas and the New Year’s off to a positive start for you.

There’s been a lot of reflection on what happened last year and that’ll be ongoing with awards season getting into full swing, which is always a worthwhile exercise.

Whether you had a great year or there’s room for improvement, there are always targets and goals to strive for.

It’s the time of the year where opportunity feels most ripe and the year is an open book – taking advantage of that is where you can make the difference.

Hitting the ground running is easier said than done, of course – you’re no doubt busy with a million and one different things, so it’s crucial to set the time aside to focus on what you want to achieve in 2025.

Maybe you’re looking at your events schedule, maybe you’ve got a promotion in mind, maybe you’re launching something new, or maybe you want to get more creative in your marketing.

Whatever it is, I know that the planning, scheduling, and budgeting is well underway…

The question is, where does video fit in the picture?

Because if you’ve got a particular project, event or date that you’re planning for, it might be worth thinking about how video could take it to the next level.

So, shall we talk about video?

Speak soon,

Ben (The Video Guy)
