Factor 50 is on the menu

We’ve all probably had similar conversations in the last couple of weeks…
‘Bit hot, isn’t it?’ is my opener – because, well, it is.
It makes for some fantastic lighting when we’re filming outdoors (as long as the angles are right and there’s no glare in people’s eyes or the camera lens).
But it does mean I have to reach for the factor 50, a hat and a cold bottle of water at all times.
It’s the polar opposite issue that we have in winter, but then again, we’re never quite happy with the weather in this country, are we?
And I’ll reserve my right to moan about it!
As Wimbledon kicks off and M&S launch a cream cheese and strawberry sandwich (I’ll let you be the judge of that, more cake than sandwich?), it’s pretty clear that summer’s well and truly arrived.
Soon enough, the kids will be off school, the airport departure lounges will be double busy, and there will be barely a spare centimetre of sand without a towel, sun lounger or sandcastle upon it.
All of which means the year is chugging along at a fair pace, so whatever plans you’ve got for product launches, events or regular content, now’s the time to strike.
Whether it’s for now, next month or even in the autumn, I’m all ears…
